Superior Belt Filter (SBF) provides advanced customized horizontal belt filter technology for continuous filtration at high production rates in even the most severe environments. Our systems range from portable, on demand filtration to the largest horizontal vacuum belt filter in North America. With offices in Florida and Utah, we serve all areas of the United States.

Utilizing the most advanced 3D modeling software, our engineers are able to design the most efficient filter system to maximize the production of a high-quality filter cake meeting your most stringent product quality requirements.

SBF has designed, fabricated and placed in operation a portable horizontal vacuum belt filter (HVBF) system specifically designed for dewatering FGD gypsum. This system can be delivered onsite and put into operation in less than 48 hours from arrival.  With capacities of up to 32 tons per hour, the SBF portable HVBF can provide dewatering of a slip stream from the absorber or alternatively used for pond closure operations or back up dewatering for a full-scale system.
