FiltCon 2021 Conference Schedule Posted, Early Bird Deadline March 26
A primary mission of the American Filtration & Separations Society (AFS) is to provide a forum for the exchange of information among engineers, scientists and technologists from all areas of our industry. One initiative that upholds this mission especially well is our upcoming major conference, FiltCon 2021.
FiltCon 2021 will be held virtually April 19-21, and our full conference schedule is now online. The conference will feature two plenary presentations, 42 technical presentations, an expo and a student poster competition. New Product Awards for 2019 and 2020, as well as Honorific Awards for 2020, will be announced at the awards ceremony on Tuesday morning.
Because the conference is virtual, participants will have access to all presentations. Participants can watch live April 19 – 21 or on-demand for up to two weeks after the conference. Several sessions will have a live Q & A after three technical presentations.
Our technical tracks will focus on filter media for air filtration, face masks, simulation air-oil separation/liquid, air/gas, filter media for liquid filtration, simulation and filter media testing. Each track will have 3-4 sessions each.
Our plenary speakers are:
- Brian Lane, Consultant: “How Global Mega Trends, Particularly the 'Race to Zero Emissions', and COVID are Impacting the Filtration Industry”
- Josh Ayer, Vice President & Managing Director, Hollingsworth & Vose, Americas: “Impacts on Filtration Market Growth”
Register by March 26 and receive a $50 early bird discount off our regular full conference registration fee. AFS members receive an additional $150 discount, which covers the cost of an individual membership for one year.
