Dr. Godwin Severa Dr. Godwin Severa has over ten years of research experience focused on the development of advanced materials for gas sorption with applications in air filtration and hydrogen storage technologies. His research at the University of Hawaii focuses on developing new filter media materials for the mitigation of acidic gas contaminants. He holds a PhD in Chemistry and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Dr. Severa has been actively involved in AFS over the past eight years and is currently Chair of the Scientific Committee and a member of the AFS Board and Certification Committee.
