Ryan Pastrana, Parker Hannifin Corp.

During this presentation, Ryan will highlight how filtration technologies are improving the world around us, leading to a better tomorrow. 

PastranaRyan Pastrana is the Vice President of Technology & Innovation for the Filtration Group of Parker Hannifin (“Parker”).  He is responsible for aligning the Group’s technology initiatives with the Parker Win Strategy™ by developing technical talent, leveraging advanced manufacturing technology for customer success, and creating new products & services for a broad range of filtration applications.  Ryan also leads the Parker Filtration Innovation Center in Columbia, Tennessee, a dedicated R&D facility that invents engineering breakthroughs for the Filtration industry.


Ryan joined Parker in 2017 as part of the acquisition of CLARCOR, a leading company in the filtration industry, where he was the Vice President of Innovation. Prior to that role, he spent 16 years with GE in varying roles of increasing responsibility.  Throughout his career, he has led global engineering teams across the entire product life cycle, including R&D, new product introduction, aftermarket services, digital transformation, and technical sales support.

Ryan grew up in Orlando Florida and studied at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia.  He received both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering.  Ryan is also a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Georgia and currently holds 3 patents.
